How Children Respond to Chiropractic Adjustments at Cadence Chiropractic in Utah Valley
Pediatric chiropractic care has been around for years and is growing in popularity as more people learn about the possible benefits. Chiropractic care is currently one of the most popular forms of pediatric care in the US. Pediatric chiropractic offers a solid foundation for your child to grow and develop as they were designed to do, as well as offering relief from common complaints.
Most peopleās first thought is that chiropractic would be too rough for a child. The truth is that chiropractic for a child is different than for an adult, there is certainly no twisting popping or cracking of the spine. Children respond much faster than adults do and require only a light pressure to restore proper movement. The adjustment of a child is often compared to the pressure that you can put on a peach without bruising it.

Why do kids need chiropractic?
Kids suffer many bumps and bruises as they learn and explore, each slip and trip can start to build on each other and lead to problems down the line. Kids nowadays suffer from many issues that professionals have attributed to the increasingly inactive lifestyles that we now live. ADD, autism, stomach issues, ear infections, asthma, and other immune system disorders have increased over the past few years and we see them on a regular basis in our office.
At Cadence Chiropractic, we know that healthy kids will grow up to become healthy adults. That is why it is so important to check kids early and remove the stress from their body; as they grow, proper structure will lead to proper function.
